Demo Server

This is a demonstration SecureDrop instance. It exists to:

• let anyone explore how SecureDrop works
• support efforts to document and localize SecureDrop, letting contributors work with the user interface in its current form

The demo instance is reset every day. Anything you do here will be erased then.

You can reach the source and journalist interfaces of the demo at:

You can access the demo using any browser. Real-world SecureDrop instances are only accessible through the Tor anonymity network, preferably using Tor Browser.

For the Journalist Interface, you will need to use one of the default test accounts, as described in our development documentation. For convenience, the details are included here, but if you have trouble, check the official documentation to make sure these instructions have not diverged.
